LANCASTER, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) – A heroin dealer in Lancaster has received a lengthy prison sentence following a guilty plea this week, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of South Carolina announced on Friday.

50-year-old Lancaster resident Kevin Clinton will serve over five years behind bars after pleading guilty to fentanyl distribution and gun possession as a felon charges.

Court records stated that in 2019 a drug investigation in the area identified Clinton as one of the suspects. Following an undercover purchase of heroin, warrants were then served at his home and he was found to be in possession of a gun. Clinton had previous convictions on crack cocaine possession.
