West Charlotte High School threat being investigated: District

CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) – A school threat involving a high school within the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools district is being investigated Monday morning.

The circumstances surrounding the threat have not yet been released and Queen City News has reached out to CMS for more details.

The threat is the latest in what has become a chronic issue with not just local schools, but around the country. The latest school shooting occurred in Georgia where a 14-year-old was arrested after two students and two teachers were killed on September 4th.

Other local districts have already dealt with several threats to start the school year.
