    Arrest made, guns and drugs seized from Lancaster home: Sheriff

    LANCASTER, S.C. ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — An accused Lancaster fentanyl dealer is behind bars after a warrant was served on his home last week, the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office said.

    Deputies said they were able to successfully make two separate purchases of fentanyl from 20-year-old Ja’Darrius Truesdale at his Lancaster home on Legend Road.

    A Task Force then served a warrant on Truesdale Friday and he was arrested and charged with multiple drug-related charges including trafficking and distribution.

    Three handguns including one with an automatic ‘switch’ device and marijuana were also seized, according to the sheriff’s office.

    “Fentanyl has been with us for a while and continues to plague our community,” said Sheriff Barry Faile on Monday. “We’re working hard to ferret out those who are dealing in it, and this was a very successful investigation which resulted in the seizure of a substantial quantity of Fentanyl and other drugs and a significant arrest.”
