Garinger High School football coach suspended with pay: CMS

CHARLOTTE ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — Garinger High School football coach DeAngelo Lloyd has been suspended, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools confirmed with Queen City News.

The circumstances surrounding the incident that led up to his suspension have not yet been released and it is unclear when he will return.

District officials confirmed that he is suspended with pay and that the suspension began on September 18, meaning he missed this past weekend’s contest.

Lloyd previously coached at Independence High School before joining Garinger. Garinger is winless so far through four games.
