President Biden will visit western NC on Wednesday to survey the damage of Hurricane Helene

CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — During a press conference on the devastation from Hurricane Helene, President Biden says he will visit North Carolina on Wednesday to look over the damage done to western North Carolina.

He plans to arrive in Raleigh and meet with the Emergency Operations Center. He then will take an aerial tour of Asheville, to not interfere with emergency personnel or divert resources on the ground.

He then plans to travel to Georgia and Florida to survey the damage there.
