    Woman charged after fatal double-shooting in Salisbury: PD

    SALISBURY, N.C. ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — A woman has been charged after a man was killed and another person was seriously hurt in an early-morning shooting, according to the Salisbury Police Department.

    Around 2:50 a.m., officers responded to the parking lot of 127 East Innes Street about shots being fired. When they arrived, they saw two victims with gunshot wounds. One was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and remains in critical condition, the other, 47-year-old Donald James Krajnyak, died at the scene, officials said.

    About three hours later around 6 a.m., detectives arrested 23-year-old Alexus Burshell Bost at 1142 New Jersey Drive in Salisbury. That’s about seven miles from where the shooting took place.

    Bost was booked into the Rowan County Detention Center without bond and charged with first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder.
