CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — A man has been charged for having more than four pounds of assorted drugs and a machine that can make more than 100,000 pills in a day, according to the Chester County Sheriff’s Office.

Around noon on Thursday, Oct. 3, deputies used a search warrant at a house on Cushman Drive in Chester County. This was a joint investigation with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the York County Multijurisdictional Drug Enforcement Unit.

    At the house, authorities found:

    • Approx. four pounds of suspected methamphetamine
    • Approx. 11 grams of suspected crack cocaine
    • Approx 9 grams of suspected fentanyl
    • $2,671 in cash
    • One firearm

Officials say they also found a high-capacity pill press that was taken from the residence. The device is used to press fentanyl powder into pills that look like real prescription medicine. This is something that is made and shipped to the United States from a foreign country and can make more than 100,000 fentanyl pills in 24 hours. According to the sheriff’s office, the machine could make enough fentanyl pills to kill three times the population of Chester County in one day.

Investigators arrested 41-year-old Marlos O’Bryan Stevenson and charged him with:

    • Trafficking methamphetamine- more than 400 grams
    • Trafficking cocaine (crack)- more than 10 grams but less than 28 grams (2nd offense)
    • Trafficking fentanyl- more than 4 grams but less than 14 grams (2nde offense)
    • Possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime
    • Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon

Documents show he was booked into the Chester County Detention Center without bond.

“This is one of the most significant drug investigations seen in Chester County, and it is another example of how determined our Office is to dismantle drug trafficking organizations who are poisoning our community,” the sheriff’s office said.

I don’t know anything about making pills. But what do they put in, or add, to those blue pills other than fentanyl to make it look like a pill? Surely they wouldn’t be making the entire pill out of the actual drug, or that would cost them more money I would imagine. So are people also putting things like glue, chemicals, etc in their bodies when taking this stuff? Something has got to be done about this terrible drug! Somehow we’ve got to do better than this.
