Tuesday Evening Forecast: Fall temps are here

(PINPOINT WEATHER) — Cooler fall weather is here! We felt it this morning, and we’ll continue to feel it for the rest of the week. Temps will be coolest in the mountains, where lows will drop into the upper 30s to lower 40s. Highs are mostly in the 60s there through Friday. In the Charlotte area, afternoon temps will be near-normal for early October, in the mid-70s.

The sky remains sunny for the most part. As Hurricane Milton tracks over Florida and far to our south, many neighborhoods will see some high clouds moving in on Wednesday and Thursday. No rain is expected. We’ll feel the wind picking up at times, too, with gusts around 20-30 mph Thursday into Friday morning. Nothing impactful.

The next front moves in next Monday with possible showers or a storm. Even cooler temps may be ahead for next week!

Tonight: Mainly clear and cool. Low 51.

    Wednesday: Mostly sunny. High 76.
