    28 arrested in drug crackdown in Iredell County: Sheriff’s Office

    IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — Twenty-eight people have been arrested for selling drugs to undercover officers between June and September, according to the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office.

    These arrests are part of an ongoing investigation into career and repeat offenders. Every few months, the Sheriff’s Office announced those arrested in the investigation.

    “By focusing on those who sell drugs, we’re addressing the root cause of many of these issues and making our community a safer place,” said Sheriff Darren Campbell.

    Carissa Lynn Lochabum , 44, of Conover is being held without bond due to other pending charges. She is charged with the following in connection with this investigation:

    • Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance
    • Felony Sell or Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance

    Cassandra Rene Hernandez , 53, of Statesville is also being held without bond due to other pending charges:

    • Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance
    • Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

    Hernandez was previously arrested in one of these round-up operations which ran the last few months of 2022 through January 2023.

    David Earl Welch , 35, of Stony Point was currently out on probation for a drug charge when he was arrested. He is now being held without bond:

    • Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance
    • Felony Sell or Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance

    Cristal Lea Sinovich , 44, of Mooresville, is being held on a $7,500 secured bond for Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver a Schedule IV Controlled Substance. She was already on probation for a misdemeanor school attendance law violation.

    Silas Tate Rhodes , 19, of Statesville, is under a $2,500 secured bond:

    • Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver a Schedule I Controlled Substance
    • Felony Sell or Deliver a Schedule I Controlled Substance

    Steven Allen Bolick , 40, of Troutman, was on probation for misdemeanor child abuse and resisting an officer. He is being held on the $10,000 secured bond:

    • Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver a Schedule III Controlled Substance
    • Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance Inside a Detention Facility

    Johnathan Blake Rife , 33, of Statesville, is being held on no bond due to other pending charges:

    • Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Schedule IV Controlled Substance
    • Felony Sell or Deliver Schedule IV Controlled Substance

    William Anthony Moran , 44, of Statesville is under a $10,000 secured bond and is charged with Felony Sell or Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance.

    Erykah Charmaine Gibbs , 27, of Statesville, was on probation for possession of stolen goods when she was arrested. She’s being held on a $250,000 secured bond.

    • Felony Trafficking Opium / Heroin
    • Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance

    Rickey Lee Bowman , 51, of Claremont, is under a $350,000 secured bond:

    • Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver a Schedule VI Controlled Substance
    • Felony Sell or Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance
    • Four Counts of Felony Trafficking a Schedule II Controlled Substance

    Daisy Jeanette Perez , 36, of Mooresville, is charged with Felony Maintaining a Vehicle for a Controlled Substance. Her bond is set at a $1,000 secured bond.

    Ricky Dale Sivess , 35, of Troutman is under a $5,000 secured bond and is charged with Felony Aiding and Abetting. He is the only person on the list without a criminal history.

    William Dale Wooten , 63, of Statesville, is being held on a $25,000 secured bond:

    • Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver a Schedule III Controlled Substance
    • Felony Sell or Deliver a Schedule III Controlled Substance

    Joshua Kenneth Wooten , 30, Statesville, is being held without bond and was on probation for previous drug charges:

    • Three Counts of Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver a Schedule II
    • Controlled Substance
    • Four Counts of Felony Sell or Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance
    • Felony Trafficking Opium / Heroin

    James Howard Hanna , 37, of Charlotte, is being held on a $125,000 secured bond:

    • Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance
    • Felony Sell or Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance
    • Felony Trafficking Opium / Heroin

    Christopher Allen Neaves , 40, of Troutman, is under a $15,000 secured bond:

    • Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver a Schedule I Controlled Substance
    • Felony Sell or Deliver a Schedule I Controlled Substance
    • Felony Trafficking Opium / Heroin

    Devin Lee Bates , 37, of Stoney Point, was on probation for eluding arrest and possession of stolen goods when he was arrested. He is under a $15,000 secured bond:

    • Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance
    • Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
    • Felony Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon

    Sara Jill Green , 36, of Statesville, who was on probation for DWI, is being held on a 15,000 secured bond:

    • Three Counts of Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance
    • Three Counts of Felony Sell or Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance

    Dionte Jaquan Clark , 33, of Statesville, is under a $65,000 secured bond. He was on probation for drug charges and carrying a concealed weapon at the time of his arrest:

    • Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver a Schedule VI Controlled Substance
    • Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver a Schedule I Controlled Substance
    • Felony Alter/Destroy/Remove Serial Number on a Firearm
    • Felony Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon

    Gregory Adam Newton , 41, of Kannapolis, is being held under a $25,000 secured bond:

    • Three Counts of Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance
    • Three Counts of Felony Sell or Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance

    Demarae Tyrell Campbell , 29, of Mooresville, was on probation for driving with his license revoked. He is under a $50,000 secured bond:

    • Felony Trafficking by Possession of Schedule I Controlled Substance
    • Felony Trafficking by Transport of Schedule I Controlled Substance
    • Felony Trafficking by Sell of Schedule I Controlled Substance

    Jacob Lee Mitchell , 29, of Statesville, is being held without bond and was on probation for a drug charge and Felony Possession of a Weapon of Mass Destruction:

    • Felony Obtaining Property by False Pretense
    • Felony Possession of Schedule I Controlled Substance
    • Felony Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
    • Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

    Mitchell was previously arrested in the same round-up operation as Cassandra Hernandez and was arrested by the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office again on drug-related charges in November 2023 .

    Malki Hasan Mohammed , 60, of Statesville, is under a $30,000 secured bond:

    • Five Counts of Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance

    April Morrison McGriff , 51, of Statesville, is being held on a $110,000 secured bond:

    • Two Counts of Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance
    • Two Counts of Felony Sell or Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance
    • Two Counts of Felony Conspiracy to Distribute a Schedule II Controlled Substance

    James Faron Morrison , 57, of Statesville, is under a $30,000 secured bond for Felony Conspiracy to Sell Narcotics. ICSO previously arrested him and reportedly seized drugs worth over $16,000 in February 2021.

    Larry Donell Robinson , 59, of Statesville, is being held without bond:

    • Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance
    • Felony Sell or Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance
    • Felony Conspiracy to Sell Narcotics

    Dowann Jermaine Andrade , 52, of Salisbury, who was on probation for Felony sex offenses, is under a $860,000 secured bond:

    • Six Counts of Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance
    • Seven Counts of Felony Sell or Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance
    • Eight Counts of Felony Trafficking a Schedule II Controlled Substance

    Melia Anthonia Luckey , 28, of Troutman, was arrested on October 2 while on probation for a drug charge. She is being held on a $12,000 secured bond.

    • Felony Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance
    • Felony Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance

    She was previously arrested by ICSO in May 2022 for drug-related charges .
