(PINPOINT WEATHER) — Get ready for a chilly night ahead! In fact, the first Frost Advisory of the season has been issued for the mountains, where temperatures will fall into the mid-30s. The warmer clothing and blankets will continue to be needed at night, with no major warmups and even cooler temperatures ahead next week.

Chilly mornings continue, but afternoons this weekend will actually get a little warmer. Highs will reach the lower 80s on Sunday afternoon. It doesn’t last too long, though– the next cold front comes through early next week, bringing us those colder lows at night and afternoon highs. By mid-week, temps may struggle to break out of the 50s! It’s also possible we could see a little rain, too, if the front stalls nearby. Keep checking in for updates on Queen City News.

Tonight: Clear and chilly. Low 43.

    Friday: Sunny. High 72.
