CONCORD, N.C. ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — The drama of the NASCAR Playoffs descends on the ROVAL for the seventh time this weekend at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13.

Vice presidential candidate JD Vance plans to attend Sunday’s race as a suiteholder guest.

In the aftermath of Helene, helicopter pilots took to the skies across Western NC to deliver vital aid to some of the hardest hit areas, many of which were otherwise cut off from help.

This weekend, ten of those brave pilots will take part in Sunday’s flyover before the seventh running of the Bank of America ROVAL 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
