    Search underway for missing 15-year-old Charlotte girl

    CHARLOTTE ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 15-year-old girl.

    E’shaunia Thompson was last seen at The Dumpling Lady in Optimist Hall in the 1100 block of North Brevard Street on Wednesday, October 9, police said.

    Thompson reportedly experienced an injury to her arm while at the location and it is unknown if she sought medical treatment, CMPD said. Her family is concerned about her well-being.

    She was last seen wearing a black shirt, checkered flannel pajama pants, crocs, and carrying a black bag. She has been known to travel around the city on the LYNX and CATS transit systems.

    Anyone with information on Thompson’s whereabouts is asked to call 911.
