(PINPOINT WEATHER) — It was the coldest morning of the season so far on Friday, with lows falling into the upper 30s and 40s around most of the region, and freezing temps in the mountains. While it won’t be quite that chilly Saturday morning, it’s still going to be cooler for this time of year!

High temperatures in the next couple of afternoons will get warmer, though. We’ll be up into the lower 80s by Sunday. The warmup doesn’t last long– another cold front will be coming in Monday, drawing in even cooler temperatures by the middle of next week. Lows could even fall below freezing in the mountains. Those warm clothes and blankets will continue to be needed.

Will the front bring any rain? Not a great chance. A few spotty showers are possible Sunday night into Monday, but most neighborhoods will remain dry.

Tonight : Clear and chilly. Low 44.

Saturday : Sunny and warmer. High 78.

Sunday : Mostly sunny and warm. 48/81.
