(PINPOINT WEATHER) — Good evening, and happy Saturday! It was yet another beautiful day across the Carolinas with ample sunshine and comfortable conditions across the region. Temperatures will warm up a little more on Sunday out ahead of a cold front that will move through the region on Monday. Behind it, even cooler conditions are on the way for the rest of the week, while our bone-dry pattern continues for the Carolinas.

As for tonight and your Sunday, another cool night is on the way with clear skies and light winds as temperatures dip down towards the 50-degree mark. Sunday we are expecting more sunshine and warmer temperatures as highs move into the low 80s.

Monday we are tracking a cold front that will be sweeping through the region, but even with the front showers are only expected to be up in the mountains with the rest of the region staying dry with highs in the low to mid-70s.

The rest of the week will be more of the same with dry conditions and ample sunshine but with much cooler temperatures for the Carolinas. Highs on Tuesday will only be in the mid-60s with even cooler temperatures for the second half of the week. Widespread morning lows around the freezing mark are possible in the foothills and mountains on Wednesday and Thursday morning.

In the meantime, enjoy the warmer temperatures before the much cooler Fall moves in next week! Have a great weekend!
