    Where to find FEMA disaster recovery centers in SC

    (WSPA) – FEMA continues this week to expand its effort to reach people affected by Hurricane Helene in the Upstate.

    The agency announced on Monday that it would open a new Disaster Recovery Assistance Center in Pickens County, starting Tuesday.

    The center is located at Captain Kimberly Hampton Memorial Library, 304 Biltmore Road, Easley, and is open from 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. Tuesday – Saturday.

    The new center joins previously opened locations in Aiken, Anderson, Barnwell, Greenville and Lexington counties.

    Anyone needing assistance can visit any open center to meet with representatives of FEMA, the state of South Carolina and the U.S. Small Business Administration. No appointment is needed.
