North Charlotte road closed from fatal motorcycle crash: CMPD

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A north Charlotte road is closed following a fatal crash Thursday evening.

According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police, there was a crash around 5:35 p.m. involving a motorcycle in the 6200 block of Highland Creek Parkway. The road is closed in both directions near Ridge Road.

Queen City News is working to learn how many people were injured in the incident.

Police are asking drivers to seek alternate routes.
