    Missing Endangered Alert continues for 77-year-old Rockingham woman

    ROCKINGHAM, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Authorities are searching for a 77-year-old woman who’s been missing for a week out of Richmond County.

    A Missing Endangered Alert has been issued for Linda Ann McCuiston, who is believed to be suffering from a cognitive impairment, according to the N.C. Center for Missing Persons.

    McCuiston is described as a while female, 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighing 125 pounds. She was wearing a black shirt with dark-colored pants and a black toboggin hat.

    The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office says she was seen Friday, Oct. 11, between 6:20-6:30 p.m. in her yard in the 100 block of Country Canyon Drive in the Meadow Wood subdivision.

    A Silver Alert also has been issued.

    Anyone with information about McCuiston should call Det. Marcus Norris at the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office at 910-895-3232.
