Queen Creek’s newest Chick-fil-A opens later this week.

The Chick-fil-A at Ironwood and Ocotillo roads will begin serving the Queen Creek community starting at 6 a.m., Thursday, June 6, at 30 W. Ocotillo Road.

For its grand opening, the restaurant will be celebrating throughout the weekend.

The franchise is owned and operated by Nate Walker, who will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 150 full- and part-time employees.

“Phoenix is home, and I look forward to serving guests in my home and community,” Walker stated in a press release. “I’m most excited about being a local owner-operator that cares deeply about our guests and seeks to enrich the lives of the community and our team members, and I hope that Chick-fil-A Ironwood and& Ocotillo will be a space for guests to create lifelong memories.”

The Ironwood and Ocotillo restaurant joins more than 40 other Chick-fil-A restaurants serving the Valley.

The restaurant will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, with the drive-thru open until 11 p.m. It also has a “mobile thru,” a dedicated lane in the drive-thru where guests can pick up orders placed ahead of time on the Chick-fil-A app, the release stated.

The restaurant will also offer third-party delivery, carry out from a walk-up window and outdoor seating.

In May, SRS Real Estate Partners announced it completed a $4.22 million ground lease sale of the 4,500-square-foot property occupied by the Chick-fil-A.

“SRS has closed approximately $50 million of Chick-fil-A assets over the past 12 months, giving our firm the highest market share of all brokerages for this product nationally,” SRS Capital Markets Managing Principal Patrick Luther stated in a press release from the company.

The property was purchased by a California-based private investor.
