It’s something of an obstacle course to access and exit Mansel Carter Oasis Park in Queen Creek Monday.

Currently, access to the park at 19535 E. Appleby Road is through northbound 196th street. The southbound lane of 196th Street is closed due to a sink hole just north of Ocotillo Road, according to a post on the town’s Parks & Recreation Facebook page.

To exit the park, drivers must use westbound Appleby Road.

Meanwhile, eastbound Appleby Road will be closed west of the Mansel Carter Oasis Park entrance for SRP work.

The work will run from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m., June 10-14. Park access will be from 196th Street during the closure. The sidewalk in this area will be completely closed until the SRP work is finished.
