Queen Creek hosts last teen event of summer

Queen Creek's last teen pop-up party before school starts takes place tonight.

"LINK at the Annex" runs from 6-8 p.m. at the Queen Creek Recreation Annex, 21802 S. Ellsworth Road.

Just for teens, the pop-up event provides them with a place to hang out, have some snacks and drinks, play lawn games, watch TV and listen to music. There will also be gaming setups.

School starts on Monday.

Meanwhile, teens in Queen Creek still have time to sign up for the Mayor's Teen Advisory Committee.

The committee provides teens with an opportunity to have their voices heard on the issues that are important to them. The program will launch in the fall.

The deadline to apply is Monday. The application can be filled out at QueenCreekAZ.gov/Teens .
