Teen dies in Rockaway from likely subway surfing incident
QUEENS — A FIFTEEN-YEAR-OLD boy was found dead on Friday afternoon after suffering injuries likely from subway surfing, reports the New York Times. The teenager was discovered at the Beach 90th Street A train station with severe head wounds after a 911 report and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are investigating the incident and have not yet determined the cause of death. The boy’s identity is being withheld, pending family notification.
