It’s time to let the dogs out! The 148th annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show takes place this weekend and is expected to welcome over 2,500 pups who will compete for Best In Show.
The Westminster Kennel Club was established in 1877 and is America’s longest running organization dedicated to the sport of dogs and the oldest nationally televised live dog show. Dogs from varying backgrounds are judged on select skills every year, such as Hound, Sporting, Non-Sporting, Toy, Herding, Terrier, and Working. The Club’s mission is to enhance the lives of all dogs by celebrating the companionship of dogs and by promoting responsible dog ownership and breed preservation.
The competition was previously held at New York City’s Madison Square Garden, but will be hosted at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens, New York, for the second time.
If you’re wondering how to tune into this weekend’s festivities, keep reading to see how you can stream the Westminster Dog Show and see who is victoriously crowned this year’s Best In Show.
