QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) – Miles of streets in Queens and Staten Island will close to vehicles this weekend, the first iteration of Summer Streets , which will hit all five boroughs.

From 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, stretches of Queens and Staten Island will be open only to pedestrians and cyclists. Instead of the sounds of cars, the roads will be filled with music, art and activities like a rock wall and book fair.
