The Braves are fading quickly, but Sale has been unreal. He hasn’t allowed more than 2 ER in his last 7 starts. He’s now the front runner for the NL Cy Young Award (+120 at BetMGM Sportsbook ).

The Braves also have a massive advantage in the pen with their 2nd-best 2.95 ERA. The Mets are 18th at 4.12.

I don’t like either side of the RL here. But I am feeling LUIS SEVERINO OVER 1.5 WALKS ( -125 ). He has 3, 3, and 2 walks in his last 3 starts against Miami, Washington and Pittsburgh. Those offenses aren’t scaring anyone, but Atlanta’s still can.

Over/Under

It’s slated to be 80 degrees with a 7-mph wind blowing in from left-center. The Braves are 4-6 O/U over the last 10, and the Mets are 6-4. With the wind backing 2 pitchers who have dealt of late, I like the UNDER 7.5 ( -115 ).
