    ALBANY, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — Happy Thursday! According to Meteorologists Matt Mackie and Kevin Appleby, today will be slightly cooler, still with temperatures in the low to mid-80s, and humidity will be lower.

    At Garvey VW Kia, located in Queensbury, chaos ensued when high winds brought down a powerline onto a row of parked cars, sparking a massive fire.     1. Storm leaves north country with downed trees, power lines

    A powerful storm ripped through the North Country yesterday, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. At Garvey VW Kia, located in Queensbury, chaos ensued when high winds brought down a powerline onto a row of parked cars, sparking a massive fire.

    2. Dry ice and water provided to Warren County residents

    As people throughout the Capital Region clean up after severe storms left damage in their wake, NEWS10 was in Warren County speaking to officials about what’s being done to help people still without power for a second night.

    3. Teen dies at Benedict Pond in Great Barrington

    An investigation has begun after a teenager died at Benedict Pond in Great Barrington on Wednesday.

    4. Albany man pleaded not guilty to attacking restaurant worker

    The suspect accused of attacking a restaurant cook after attempting to dine and dash at Shogun Sushi on May 29 appeared in Albany County court on Wednesday. Lucas Healey, 42, of Albany, pleaded not guilty to robbery and assault charges.

    5. Rockin’ on the River concert postponed until August

    The Rockin’ on the River concert scheduled for July 17 has been canceled, the Downtown Troy Business Improvement District announced. The show will be postponed to an undetermined date in August.
