Moving to Columbia, SC, advice on rentals?
I landed a tech job in Columbia, SC area and will be moving there in a few months. I figure for the first year, I'll just rent an apartment while I get my bearings, and then decide where to buy permanently. I know that asking for general advice is too broad, so I'm mostly curious if you have intuition around price range and how to choose a rental property, particularly as I probably can't even visit before committing to moving in (assuming COVID doesn't subside soon).
Do you have an opinion on the best restaurants in Columbia, SC?

How do you get local discount information in Columbia, SC?
The deals don't last. Usually I use groceryoutlet.com to get discount information around me, and occasionally I use retailmenot.com to get it. As a person who likes to save money, I am very concerned about the deals and discount information around me. Can you share how you usually get local discount information? Best hair salons in Columbia ? Has to be able to do thick curly hair
This is the best hair salon in Columbia recommended by my friends:. Shine on Rosewood! They use the Deva method. If you're off DC products like I am, they can use other brands but still get the amazing cut.
Solo roller skater looking for people to skate with! All wheels and skill levels welcome! Is anyone interested?
Today’s best question, from a friend on Reddit, in his words:. I’ve been living in columbia for almost 2 years now and in that time i’ve picked up roller skating. I only know of a few local skaters on instagram but i’m nervous to ask if they wanna meet up cus they’re significantly older than me (i’m 19) and idk if i’d fit in lol. I also haven’t made any friends due to online schooling and covid. I would love to create a community of local skaters to park and trail skate with! Quads, inlines, skateboards, scooters, bikes, anything with wheels welcome! No drama, no competition, no creeps, just good vibes and encouragement! No skill level required, anyone from beginner to professional is welcome to join! Just want to create a positive community for local skaters to make new friends and have a good time!
