Are We About To Say Goodbye To A ‘Famous’ Minnesota Pie Shop?
While I was out on vacation I was following the weather impacting Minnesota. When I saw the devastation from the Rapidan Dam, with the water rushing around the 100+-year-old dam, and tearing into the land my heart was broken. About 100 feet or so from the 'new' edge of the river, stands a famous pie stand. I hope this isn't the end of the Rapidan Dam Store.
Target’s Minnesota Checkout Rule is Now Three Months Old
Minnesota's own Target made a big change to its checkouts and self-checkouts across our fair state earlier this year, and that 'new' rule is now three months old. While self-checkouts may seem to be a relatively new phenomenon at department and grocery stores here in the Land of 10,000 Lakes and across the country, they actually aren't all that new. Flooding Forces Popular Rides To Temporarily Close At Minnesota’s Valleyfair
The entire state of Minnesota has been watching the impact of the rain from the past week. Seeing the photos of houses and businesses flooded in Mankato, Waterville, and Spring Valley has left me speechless. I drove on Highway 52 over the weekend and saw the Cannon Valley River looking extremely mad and rough. And the videos of the Rapidan Dam being breached and causing buildings to crumble into the water reminded me so much of the flooding that happened in Yellowstone National Park in 2022. Just devastating!
Two Illinois Towns Now On List Of Rudest Cities In Midwest
Not too long ago, a group of people went out to a bunch of Culver's restaurants in the Midwest to chat and observe people. What were they looking for?
