Seattle man arrested for fraud, theft in Cowlitz County
COWLITZ COUNTY Wash. (KPTV) - A man was arrested in Cowlitz County after attempting to scam a victim out of $55,000 and impersonating Microsoft’s fraud department. On July 30, the Cowlitz County Sheriff’s Office got a report from a victim of an ongoing fraud attempt. They reported someone claiming to be from Microsoft’s fraud department.

Kent Police arrest 3 juveniles in stolen vehicle after pursuit Tuesday afternoon
Kent Police Patrol and K9 officers arrested three juveniles in a stolen Hyundai Elantra on Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 20, 2024, following a brief pursuit. Officer Green was alerted at 4:12 p.m. that the vehicle, reported stolen in King County, was moving near Central Avenue North and South 228th Street. He quickly positioned himself and confirmed the car was stolen before requesting backup for a high-risk traffic stop.
New Public Art Unveiled at the Hoa Mai Park Opening
On July 27, 2024, the Seattle Office of Arts & Culture (ARTS), Seattle Parks and Recreation, and Friends of Little Saigon hosted a community ribbon cutting celebration for the new Hoa Mai Park in Little Saigon. Hotworx, opening next week at 1570 W Armory Way, is a franchise gym with over 600 locations around the world.
