Jason Patrick Alday, 39, of Quincy, Florida, has been arrested on a federal criminal complaint.

Jason R. Coody, United States Attorney for the Northern District of Florida, announced the charge after Alday made his initial appearance in federal court in Tallahassee.

The criminal complaint alleges that Alday engaged in sending threatening communications, making threats against the President of the United States, and threats against federal officials.

Alday was arrested by the United States Marshals Service Task Force, and the United States Secret Service on Monday. Alday was ordered detained pending trial.

Time magazine says the Secret Service has been monitoring Alday since June.

The news outlet also received the criminal complaint affidavit filed with the Tallahassee Division of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida.

Alday allegedly said, “I don’t like President Biden. I want to kill him, lit his throat.”

On July 11, the Secret Service was notified about Alday’s X (Twitter) account where he allegedly posted these type of threats below:

    “i’ll kill joe biden today!!”

“sources: Joe biden’s health is declining rapidly. Not doing too good at all. Should I finish him off?”

“The secret service sent a special agent n—– to my house with gadsden county officers. I’ll still slit joe biden’s throat,”

“I want special agent matthews dead, too. stupid n—– has gotta go!”

“Where you at special agent matthews ? come arrest me n—–!! this is Jason Alday!!”

The case is being investigated by the United States Secret Service. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Eric Welch.
