    Panhandle man arrested for making threats against President Joe Biden

    BAY COUNTY, Fla. ( WMBB ) – A Panhandle man is facing charges for making threats against President Joe Biden.

    On Monday, 39-year-old Jason Patrick Alday of Quincy, Florida was arrested on a federal criminal complaint by the U.S Marshals Service Task Force and the U.S Secret Service.

    According to a news release, the criminal complaint alleges that Alday engaged in sending threatening communications, making threats against the President of the United States and against federal officials.

    Alday was ordered detained pending trial.

    The case is being investigated by the U.S. Secret Service and being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Eric Welch.
