A free Community Job and Resource Fair hosted by The Gadsden County Probation Office is coming to Quincy in August.

It will be held from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10 at the Joe Ferolito Recreation Center, 122 N Graves St.

The Gadsden County Probation Office has partnered with The Big Bend A.F.T.E.R Re-Entry Program and D.J. Dap Loreen Matthews Foundation to create a space where Gadsden County residents can think about their future, with the emphasis that this event is more than just a career fair.

While attendees will have the opportunity to meet with potential employers and access employment resources, there will also be a food giveaway, free physicals, wellness exams and activities for kids.

Attendees can also look forward to the Florida Licensing on Wheels (FLOW) mobile being onsite, offering the following service:

    • Renew or obtain an original Florida Drivers License and/or ID card
    • Replace a drivers license and/or ID card
    • Change a name or address on driver’s license and/or ID card
    • Renew or replace vehicle registration
    • Replace a lost vehicle title
    • Obtain or renew a disabled person parking permit

The FLOW mobile does not provide driving knowledge and skills tests, however they can assist with other Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) critical safety services, like registering emergency contact information.

FLOW mobile services are offered statewide for veterans, homeless citizens, seniors, correctional institutions, local government partners and special events, providing access to drivers license and motor vehicle services.

For information on what to bring to the FLOW mobile, visit www.flhsmv.gov/driver-licenses-id-cards/what-to-bring/.

Those looking to renew a credential, update an address, or renew a registration can visit FLHSMV online at mydmvportal.flhsmv.gov/Home/en/Account/Landing.
