SHREVEPORT, La. - Some parents in the ArkLaTex can save some money over the next two weekends, just in time for the kids to go back to school. The state of Oklahoma is having it's tax free weekend Friday through Sunday. During this time, the state sales tax of 4.5% will be completely waived, and even county and municipal taxes will be exempted, resulting in a higher overall discount for shoppers.

SPRINGDALE, Ark. — One person was killed and another injured after a crash in Washington County on July 31.
