Black Rock Man Charged With Numerous Drug Charges Including Maintaining A Drug Premises
A probation/parole compliance check at a residence on Main Street has resulted in one person being charged after authorities say he was maintaining a drug premise. Jacob Gokey, age 43 of Black Rock was arrested after a compliance check was conducted and a K-9 alert was indicated at the residence.

Five Arkansans included in new Top247 for 2026
The state of Arkansas has another deep crop of talent on the way for 2026, as five Natural State products landed on Wednesday's updated Top247 rankings for the Class of 2026. The group of Arkansans is topped by Cherry Valley (Ark.) Cross County four-star defensive lineman Danny Beale, who comes in at No. 87 nationally after previously being ranked 80th in April. Beale, 6-3, 315, is the state's top-ranked player with scholarship offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Georgia, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, USC and others.

Sategna Named to Jet Award Preseason Watch List
OMAHA, Neb. – Arkansas return specialist Isaiah Sategna has been named to the 2024 Jet Award Preseason Watch List, the Jet Award Foundation announced on Wednesday.
