Simoneaux retires from Eagle Bank
Congratulations to Carol Simoneaux on her retirement!. Carol Simoneaux began working at Heber Springs State Bank as a Loan Processor in 2001. Working in the loan department was enriching, and she learned so much from working with Jack Barber, Cathy Cox, Gynelle Linder, and Bill Lynch, who was the President of the bank at that time. In addition to loan processing, Simoneaux became the backup for the acting Credit Card Coordinator, a job to which she was particularly drawn.
THREE BEARS EARN ALL-AMERICA HONORS
CONWAY, Ark. _ Three University of Central Arkansas Bears were named this week to the 2024 Stats Perform FCS Preseason All-America team. Senior safety TaMuarion Wilson , senior defensive end/linebacker David Walker and senior all-purpose back ShunDerrick Powell were all first-team selections. All three are from the state of Arkansas. Wilson, a 6-foot-2, 215-pounder from Bryant (Ark.) High School, has totaled 265 career tackles and was UCA's leading tackler in 2001 and 2002. He also has six career interceptions.
