Hidden Gems In NYC - Ella Social

So I know I’ve said this before and I will most definitely say it again, but New York City is so great for so many reasons. One of those being the sheer number of restaurants in the city. No matter what type of food you are craving, you will certainly find it in NYC. I’ve only lived here for a few short weeks, but I have just absolutely loved trying out new restaurants and different types of cuisine in the city.

Recently I had the pleasure of dining at a wonderful new restaurant called Ella Social. Ella Social is located on the Upper West Side right next to the park (249 Columbus Ave). The food, drinks, and atmosphere was just incredible, and I literally couldn’t recommend it more! They serve Latin and Mediterranean inspired cuisine. They have delicious tapas, small plates, and shareables, and paella - all perfect for sharing with your friends and family.

They currently have an outdoor dingin sidewalk patio open which is perfect for a summer evening. When I went there I sat outside and it was so lovely - the ambiance was perfect for a summer evening dinner with friends! Some of the tapas and small dishes I tried when I was there were the artisanal cheese board, bravas (SO good), and skirt steak skewers. And of course I had to try the paella - we had the seafood paella, but they have several different paella options! Honestly everything I had was absolutely delicious and I can't wait to go back and try even more of their dishes! They’ve got a nice wine selection and amazing hand crafted cocktails as well.

I know they also have an amazing brunch selection, so you already know I will be back very soon to sample the brunch menu too! If it’s anything like their dinner experience I know it will be delicious and perfect! So if you are on the Upper West Side (or just in Manhattan in general) and looking for a place to eat then definitely check out Ella Social for some delicious shareable bites, fancy drinks, and an overall great time! #hiddengems
