    2021-06-16

If you live in New York City you know just how big a deal weekend brunch is. It’s one of my favorite things to do with friends on the weekend because brunch food is some of my favorite food, and there is just nothing better than a boozy sunday brunch to finish off your weekend with! I know I am not alone in this love for weekend brunch, and I know that so many people in NYC just love getting brunch!

Luckily for those of us living in New York City (or those of you who are visiting the city), there are tons and tons of places to get brunch. But with all of these choices of brunch restaurants, it can also be hard to narrow it down. Which ones are the best? Well don’t worry - I am here to give you the ultimate NYC weekend brunch guide!

Here are my top picks for brunch spots in New York City:

    Sunday In Brooklyn

First up is Sunday in Brooklyn. I just absolutely love this restaurant and it’s located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It’s a great little neighborhood spot that has incredible food and atmosphere. Their brunch menu includes some delicious brunch staples that every great brunch needs to have! And whether you live in Brooklyn or you are coming in from Manhattan or Queens or wherever - you won’t regret spending your Sunday in Brooklyn!

    Penelope

Next up is Penelope located in Midtown, Manhattan. I love this place for brunch because they serve delicious comfort food staples that are perfect for breakfast! I also just love the rustic yet chic vibe of this restaurant. It's just the cutest atmosphere for a Saturday or Sunday brunch!

    Poco

Another great and unique brunch spot in NYC is Poco. Poco is located in Alphabet City, in lower Manhattan. This place is great for brunch if you are looking for something unique and different from your typical american style breakfast food! Poco is a Spanish inspired restaurant that serves tapas and small plates. Their brunch menu is heavily influenced by Spanish cuisine and it’s so delicious!

    Sadelle’s

Next up we have Sadelle’s, located in Soho. Sadelle’s is known for their bagel and smoked salmon platters. They are just so fun! Their bagels are served on a pole and all the smoked fish and toppings come on a huge platter - it’s so instagram worthy and also delicious!

    Russ & Daughters

And of course speaking of bagels and smoked salmon, I just had to include Russ & Daughters on this list! Russ & Daughters is located on the Lower East Side. And they also have delicious bagel and lox platters that are just perfect for any weekend brunch!

    La Mercerie

Next up we have La Mercerie, which is located in Soho. This is a perfect brunch spot for when you are feeling fancy. This restaurant has a French inspired cuisine that is just absolutely delicious! And on top of the amazing food the interior of this place is just to die for. It’s so beautiful and makes for such an instagrammable photo-op!

    The Brooklyn Diner

And last but not least is the Brooklyn Diner. The Brooklyn Diner is one of my all time favorite restaurants in the city, it’s one of those spots that my family and I have eaten at every time we used to visit NYC. They have two locations, one near Times Square on 43rd St. and the other is in midtown, right by central park on 57th St. While they are a diner technically, the Brooklyn diner is definitely a little fancier and nicer than your typical diner, but the food is just as great! And they have a great breakfast menu making it the best spot for brunch on the weekends!
