BRUNSWICK, Maine—Early Monday morning, a firefighting foam containing PFAS chemicals was accidentally discharged at the Brunswick Executive Airport, raising concerns about potential environmental impacts. The incident occurred around 5:30 a.m. in Hangar 4, according to Kristine Logan, executive director of the Midcoast Regional Redevelopment Authority (MRRA).
