I had the opportunity recently to visit World of Beer. They are a chain restaurant, but their food quality is extremely high. I'd imagine their beer is decent, too. I'm not a beer drinker, apologies.

When I went, I ordered tacos, but I didn't realize I had accidentally gone on a Tuesday. I got quite the deal on my tacos for Taco Tuesday. Here's why you should get the tacos, and if you don't like tacos, what you should get instead.

The restaurant itself is very welcoming and large. It is primarily a bar, so they need to have a lot of space for those late-night gatherings.

It is freezing in here! Bring a sweater, even if it's warm out. I did notice when I went back on a crowded day, it was a bit warmer due to the body heat, but not much.

I decided to order the street tacos, which are topped with tomato and corn salsa, shredded lettuce, avocado, cilantro, and queso fresco. I picked the Beer-Battered Shrimp and Sriracha Lime Aioli tacos, but they also offer Chicken and Beef ones, too. Mahi Mahi Tacos are on the menu as well, but they are not considered "street tacos".

Two tacos normally cost $8.95, but on Taco Tuesday the total came to $7.00. That's a major, 20+% discount on an already cheap menu item! Considering all I got to go with my tacos was water, I used that $1.95 I saved plus a little more cash to give back as a more than 20% tip on my overall order. Talk about a deal! Lunch for approximately $10!

My friend got herself a "Cali Bowl" with blackened chicken for $11.50. She ended up taking half of it home to use as her dinner for that night, cutting the per-meal price down to $5.75, a pretty good deal in my book.

We were both very impressed by the food quality here. Everything was delicious and overall, was somewhat healthy.

I will say, you don't need to be healthy when you visit World of Beer. On my next visit, my boyfriend and I ordered the mac & cheese bites ($8.75), and two orders of the boneless wings ($10.75e) in Honey Honey BBQ and Sweet Fire sauce. Definitely not as healthy, but still delicious. The mac and cheese balls were your typical bar snack, nothing special.

The Honey BBQ boneless wings were our favorite and tasted a bit like Chili's Chicken Crispers. The Sweet Fire sauce tastes like sweet & sour sauce. I think the Honey BBQ is more worth your money. For two people, you will likely need two orders of wings or one wing platter, and another appetizer to feel full.

Coming here on a Tuesday is such a great deal. If you enjoy tacos, really try to remember to come on a Tuesday -- you won't regret it!
