    Rahway Resident Killed in Motorcycle Accident in Clark on Tuesday

    A Rahway resident was killed in a motorcycle accident in Clark on Tuesday.

    CLARK, NJ — On Tuesday, July 16, around 8 p.m., Clark Police officers responded to an accident on Madison Hill Road involving an automobile and a motorcycle. The driver of the motorcycle was later identified as 32-year-old Rahway resident Justin Almenas. Almenas suffered serious injuries as a result of the accident and later died at University Hospital in Newark.

    The accident occurred at the intersection of Madison Hill Road and Adams Street. Upon arriving at the scene, officers identified a 2014 Honda Accord and a 2023 Kawasaki motorcycle in the roadway.

    The Clark PD told TAPinto Clark, "The initial police investigation reveals that the motorcyclist was traveling westbound on Madison Hill Road. The driver of the Honda Accord was making a left-turn from Adams Street onto Madison Hill Road when the accident occurred."

    The accident remains under investigation by the detectives of Clark Township Police Department Traffic Bureau.
