Community Rallies Around Rahway Family That Lost Home and Possessions in July 19th Fire

RAHWAY, NJ — As news began circulating throughout Rahway and over social media about a July 19th house fire in town, the only thing spreading faster were requests and inquiries about helping out the family, who lost not only their home but many possessions and personal items.

The good, and most important, news is that Robert Perrine, his wife, and daughter are safe following the devastating Friday fire. Perrine is a beloved member of the Rahway community and a dedicated employee of the Rahway Public Schools. He is a cherished friend and neighbor to many.

A GoFundMe page has been established to support the Perrines and raise money to replace some of what they lost and support them as they begin to move beyond this tragedy.

The page states, "The funds raised will go towards essentials such as temporary housing, clothing, furniture and other necessities. Any amount you can contribute will make a significant difference and will be deeply appreciated."
