Mayor and City Council to Present Spray Day at Rahway Spray Park on Aug. 8

RAHWAY, NJ — Mayor Raymond A. Giacobbe and the Rahway City Council are thrilled to announce Spray Day at the Rahway Spray Park located at Brennan Field. This event will take place on August 8, from 4-6 p.m.

Spray Day is a safe space event specifically designed for individuals with disabilities and/or special needs. The City of Rahway aims to create a fun, supportive, and accessible environment where families can enjoy the Rahway Spray Park. In terms of accessibility, the Rahway Spray Park is ADA-certified.

Staff members will be present throughout the event. However, it is required that a parent or guardian accompanies the children at the park at all times.

In addition to the exciting water activities at the spray park, attendees will have the opportunity to partake in various games and activities located just outside the park. This ensures that there is something for everyone to enjoy during the event.

“The Rahway City Council and I remain committed to expanding upon inclusive and accessible programming in the City,” said Mayor Giacobbe. “It is important to me that we do everything we can to ensure every child has the opportunity to have fun this summer and create incredible memories in the City of Rahway”.
