    Raleigh County 4-H member representing West Virginia at National Conference for Girls in STEM

    RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – West Virginia’s own Keeley “Gracie” Littreal, a dedicated member of Raleigh County 4-H, has been chosen to join the 2024 Flight Crew as part of the Million Girls Moonshot initiative.

    This initiative aims to promote out-of-school STEM learning and equity in STEM fields for young people nationwide, encouraging a future where girls can thrive in STEM careers.

    The event, the National Conference for Girls in STEM, is currently underway in San Diego, California.

    Gracie Littreal, known for her passion and advocacy in STEM education, was selected for her outstanding commitment to inspiring young girls across West Virginia.

    Through her involvement in 4-H and other community efforts, Gracie has championed the cause of empowering young women to pursue STEM disciplines, envisioning a world where they can excel with confidence.

    “You are capable of going above and beyond with enough confidence,” Gracie advises aspiring young girls interested in STEM careers, reflecting on her own journey.

    The 2024 Flight Crew comprises youth from various corners of the country, all driven by transformative STEM experiences beyond traditional classroom settings.

    These young leaders are actively engaged in their communities, striving to dismantle stereotypes and ignite curiosity in STEM among their peers.
