Four NAC-6 women’s soccer players announced to 2024 East all-star roster

On May 29, four NAC-6 women’s soccer players were announced to the 2024 East all-star roster. Two came from Millbrook High School, while one played for Heritage and one for Wakefield.

Katelyn Burnette, Lauren Hollis, Selah Jackson and Reagan Lohr made the team, making up a quarter of the 16-player roster.

Millbrook duo

Forward Burnette and goalkeeper Hollis both came from conference champions Millbrook.

Burnette led the NAC-6 in points with 56 and goals with 24. Burnette was the only player in the NAC-6 to average more than one goal per game with more than 13 games played, averaging 1.091 per game in 22 games played. She also was tied for No. 4 in assists with eight, just one short of tying for No. 2.

While Burnette led the team and conference on the offensive end, Hollis did the same for the defense. Hollis led the league in both goals allowed per game (0.567) and was No. 3 in saves (92) in the NAC-6.

Jackson

Heritage forward Jackson was No. 15 in the NAC-6 in points (15) and No. 12 in goals (seven). These numbers, however, came off just 11 games played, averaging .636 goals per game.

Lohr

Wakefield midfielder Lohr was No. 3 in goals on the year among NAC-6 players despite being a midfielder, scoring 14 goals on the year, only trailing Burnette and Caityln Britt. Her six assists tied for No. 7 in the conference and contributed to her finishing No. 4 in the conference for points on the season with 34.

All-star game

The 2024 east-west all-star women’s soccer match will be played on July 16, at Grimsley High School’s Jamieson Stadium.
