Neighborhood Good Time Bar, brought to Raleigh's Smoky Hollow by the owners of nearby restaurant Madre , opened its doors last month.

Two things to expect: There's no tipping, for one. Also, the owners are lining up the occasional local celebrity to bartend.

    • Thursday night, for instance, Raleigh Mayor Mary-Ann Baldwin will be slinging drinks starting at 6pm.

Catch up quick: Neighborhood replaced the now-shuttered New Anthem taproom, which announced its closing in March — less than a year after it opened the location.

Driving the news: Madre's owners saw a need for a laid-back, come-as-you-are neighborhood watering hole — a stark contrast from the bars that line Glenwood South just two blocks away, Raleigh Magazine reported in March .

    • Hang out, snack, play board games and sip on the bar's draft-only beer, wine and batched cocktails, along with frozen drinks, the News & Observer reports .
    • The bar's lineup of celebrity bartenders includes Carolina Hurricanes players next month, per the N&O.

Of note: All drink prices already include gratuity and tax.

    • "It's tap and go," co-owner Tyler Helikson told the N&O. "With tipping anxiety today, we thought it was best to not have to think about it. Everything's included."

    Hours: 2-11pm Wednesday-Thursday; 2pm-1am Friday; 12pm-1am Saturday; 12-10pm Sunday.

If you go: 500 N. West St, Ste. 150, Raleigh.
