RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — The North Carolina State Highway Patrol needs your vote to win a national contest, and this year’s entry features a Raleigh landmark.

The American Association of State Troopers is holding their annual ‘Best Looking Cruiser Contest.’

This year, the NCSHP submitted a photo of their Ford Mustang and Bell 429 helicopter in front of North Carolina State University’s Carter Finley Stadium and Wolfpack Turf statue.

“This image serves as a salute to NCSU’s athletic programs after having had a stellar 2023-2024 season in numerous sports categories,” the North Carolina Department of Public Safety said in a news release.

    NCDPS said NCSU’s accomplishments include:

The contest is open to State Highway Patrol and State Police agencies across the country, and the top 13 agencies will have their state’s photo featured in a 2025 calendar.

Proceeds from the calendar sales will benefit the American Association of State Troopers Foundation, which provides educational scholarships to dependents of member troopers.

Voting is open now through July 29 at 12 p.m.

Organizers say one vote per device is allowed.
