RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Forward Jack Drury has been re-signed to the Carolina Hurricanes on a two-year, $3.45 million contract extension.

Hurricanes general manager Eric Tulsky announced the re-signing on Wednesday. The deal will pay Drury an average-annual value of $1.725 million through the 2025-26.

Brian Fork named CEO of Carolina Hurricanes

Drury, 24, had 27 points (8 goals and 19 assists) in 74 games with the Hurricanes during the 2023-24 season, which were all career highs. He also had career highs in power-play goals (2) and power-play points (7), according to the team.

“Jack took tremendous steps last season to solidify himself as a key part of our forward group,” Tulsky said in a statement. “He is an extremely hard worker at both ends of the ice who can be relied upon at all situations, and we are excited to watch his continued growth in Carolina.”
