Tre Aiken visited NC State June 1 for the Pack’s first camp of the year, impressing the coaching staff and earning an offer that day. Nearly two months later, he returned to campus July 26 for the Alpha Wolf Showcase.

The 6-4, 285-pound tackle from Clinton (S.C.) Senior High is emerging as one of the top offensive linemen in the Carolinas. He holds offers from the Pack, Kentucky, Florida and others, and his recruitment will likely only continue to grow during his senior season.

NC State invited him back to Raleigh for Alpha Wolf, and he enjoyed the chance to get back on campus. Offensive line coach Garett Tujague showed a ton of interest in the tackle over the past couple of months— one of the main reasons he made the four-hour drive for this visit.

“It was great,” Aiken said. “It’s always a fun time to go down there and talk to the staff. It’s an amazing staff.”

Aiken is locked in on preparing for his junior year at this point, so no schools are standing out from his offer list so far. NC State continued to impress the lineman during his most recent visit as he spent more time with the coaches and took a closer look at the facilities.

During the day with the Pack, the lineman briefly worked out with Tujague inside Carter-Finley Stadium, receiving in-person instruction from the staff for the second time this year. He walked through the tunnel and past the wolf statue that guards the entrance to the Murphy Center. Aiken enjoyed the stadium experience and the chance to connect more with Tujague.

“I love coach Tujague,” Aiken said. “It’s always a pleasure to work with coach Tujague.”

He appreciates Wolfpack assistant’s energy and the passion he shows as a coach. The rising junior plans on stopping by campus for a game day later this year.

Dave Doeren is also building a bond with the priority tackle prospect. From his conversations with the Wolfpack head coach, he can tell this is a program that loves to work. Aiken brought up NC State’s “blood in the bricks” mantra.

“Coach Doeren, he’s a quiet guy, but he’s very wise,” Aiken said.

NC State likes the lineman’s technique and mentality on the field. The rising junior heard the praise from the staff, but the constructive criticism from the staff caught his attention.

“They said I had amazing feet, I’m tough, aggressive, but he also told me the things I need to work on which I do like,” Aiken said.

Aiken is unranked by On3 for now but Rivals considers him a three-star prospect and the No. 9 recruit in South Carolina’s 2026 class.
