Wake Forest Releases 2024-25 Nonconference Basketball Schedule
Wake Forest has announced the nonconference portion of the upcoming 2024-25 basketball season. The good news is that the Deacs will have some tougher games this season. Texas A&M and JMU both made the NCAA Tournament last season—Texas A&M easily took down Nebraska in the first round before nearly beating #1 seed Houston (but lost in OT), while JMU upset Wisconsin before losing to Duke. Xavier did not make the NCAA Tournament, but lost in the first round of the NIT to Georgia after finishing 9-11 in the Big East. The Musketeers did have a brutal schedule with 15 quad 1 games, however. Michigan was terrible last season, but they have a new coach in Dusty May and a top 10 transfer class coming in, so they will probably bounce back quickly. I could definitely see them making the tournament in year 1 of May’s tenure.

The rest of the General Assembly and the taxpaying public learned […] The post State budget stalemate boosts transparency first appeared on Restoration NewsMedia.
