Missing 16-year-old boy could be in Raleigh County
BECKLEY, WV (WVNS) — The Beckley Police Department has asked the public for help in finding a missing teenager. According to a Facebook post from the Beckley Police Department, they are searching for 16-year-old Jack Silas Platter, who was last seen in the Ona area of Cabell County on July 30, 2024. The post stated Platter could be somewhere in the Raleigh County area.

Crews fight house fire in Kanawha County
SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Crews are fighting a house fire Thursday night in South Charleston, Metro 911 dispatchers said. It was reported around 7:15 p.m. in the 600 block of Highland Avenue. Dispatchers say the occupants made it out to safety, which the South Charleston Fire Chief also confirmed.
