Chipotle opening new Lake Murray location with ‘Chipotlane’
Curbside pickup fans now have a new avenue to grab their burritos without having to get out of their car. Chipotle is debuting another "Chipotlane" in San Diego at a brand new location in Lake Murray opening July 25.
Los Angeles-Based Ono Hawaiian BBQ Opening First San Diego County Location
Los Angeles-based restaurant chain Ono Hawaiian BBQ, which has more than 70 branches, will soon open its first San Diego location. Brothers Joshua and Joe Liang opened the first Ono Hawaiian BBQ in 2002 at Santa Monica Boulevard and Bundy Drive in Los Angeles, and the company now has more than 70 locations dotted around California and Arizona. The founders were inspired by the diverse culinary traditions of Hawaii, which blend influences from Polynesia, Japan, Korea, and the United States, and hoped to introduce the cuisine to a broader audience.
